When you make the cuts in the door you must cut like a Z "as you can see in the picture" so your welding will be much stronger. Instead of using (plamuur, mastic i don't know the english word) You must use tin to make it smooth. Before there was (plamuur) the bodyshop workers used tin. It's like in the old days.
Tin is much stronger and will not brake!
I hope you can use it. |

I remember seeing that car being built as a wide eyed and impresionable 10 year old thinking it was cool, but really it was a quick lash-up and not the work of a decent hot rod builder, Ive allready put more thought into mine and I havnt gone near it with a cutting disc yet!
It was a waste of a 2cv now i see the pictures of it without misty eyed nostalgia getting in the way! _________________
