Sorry, not much more pictures of the progressed work, because that was mostly putting it together and adjusting etc.
But finally a good month ago I got it retested and it passed the TÜV with a blue eye So got it registered and drove it for a bit. Maybe you recognized it here in Martijn's Citromobile album.

It is great fun to drive. A very different feeling from my 2cv6, because the suspension is very soft.
Next job for this on is the gearbox... It is (very) noise, as soon as I take my foot off the clutch Next week I am off work and I'll take it out and see if I can rebuilt it or at least fit a new main bearing. Will try to keep you updated _________________ I like to play |

Nice job!
What kind of engine did you use? An AM engine form an Ami6?
And what speed can you drive whit it in a 2cv? _________________ 2cv rolls beter then a rolls! |

I used an early ami6 602 engine and gearbox, combined with the original 400 wheels. Engine code starts with AM.M which is a M4 type engine.
It drives really well, the gearbox is out now but it did 100km/h easily! It originally has 25hp which I tried to improve a little with a slightly raised compression ratio and the modified exhaust. Nevertheless I do feel it is not as strong as a normal/late 602 engine.
btw. TÜV even tested to speed to put that in the registration papers... and they measured 117km/h. _________________ I like to play |

Didn't know that they tested the speed?
But that's great the 117km/h!
Nice to drive a old 2cv that't going faster when you compare it to some '80 models |

That's right, but see my daily 2cv, that only gets washed after the winter and probably when I have an occasional date _________________ I like to play |

sorry no pics this time, but all fitted and driven it again It is much better now. Box is not so noisy, did not leak oil jet but most off all it drives much smoother now. Previously I always hat to rev it up more than comfortable to drive off, but that is gone now! I'm well pleased! _________________ I like to play |
