Hi there,
excuse mu English, i'll try do do my best.
Question about channeling because i have been reading almost every post about it (took me three hours!) ans still don't understand...
why are some people cutting the firewall and not only the pedal-panel???
Seems to me far more easy to just cut the pedal-panel and leave the firewall untouched... am i wrong? How much can you lower when just cutting the pedal-wall?
Thank's a lot guy's!

you will be able to channel about 55mm withouth cutting the pedal panel. but here you already need to customize clutch and accelerater pedal to push it down completely.(or make a scrape in for both padels in your floor.) _________________ in rust we trust... |

10 cm wihtout cutting the firewall, i've only modified the accelerator pedal and made a custom pedal panel. |

Another channeling question: Is the box under rear seat needed for body strenghtening or is it just for easier rear seat mount? With 10cm channeling there is no room for a box on top of the frame if you want someone to sit back there. |

The box is as necessary as the box under your feet, but you'll need the height anyway to get over the axle and petrol tank. |

do you just men the "step" or the whole box ? the "step" is necesarry, thats true, but the "box" with the hole in it is not if you strenghten up the connection between your rear/c columns in another way.(with a "square-pipe" e.g.) _________________ in rust we trust... |

Argh I forgot the axle alltogether, this changes plans. Even the tank is movable, but axle not so. But as seen the empty box in front of the axle can be removed if reinforced, this gives some more room. |
