Maltese cross is an icon of Kustom Kulture, nothing to see like a bad political symbol.

Everybody understands that its a custom symbol (even trough its originally
based on Iron Cross), but the thing is that its already really "OUT". Its really
too Cliché to be cool anymore. Hope you understand Very Happy

-Olli

ps. Maltese Cross vs. Iron Cross. Its true that orgins of Iron Cross may be in
Maltese Cross, but where it came to the custom culture is German Iron Cross.

It's an iron cross, not a maltese cross. I don't why french people mix them. And huhu it's just a bad "tuning scene" symbol nowadays !

But anyway your car looks great and would look muuuuch better without it !

maybe I should have written just paint the doors blue :) ...or instead of "that symbol" put a oldschool fake business sign, if you feel like you need sth on the doors..

Well i think so. Can't remember if there is another one.

But I'm talking finished, driveable cars.

Several 2cv Vans have been started, however, but your's is the first to hit the road I think.

What do you think about mixture of old company-logo with ironcross? Moon does that and looks pretty old-fashioned and kustomkulture as well

Yep of course I remember yours, there is also one in Finland that is cut up everywhere but that confirms that none are on the road and channeled except Ceds' van. Wink

I allways thought the iron cross was related to German cars like Volkswagen, and you French guys (2cv owners) would be proud of this sign...

So grab your...

and make it a nice rusty one!
Afterwards you can tattoo your ride with the Snail logo right across the rusty lily.
I would like to try it on the hood of my AX, like this... but don't expect me to draw in the Snail logo... too diffiCULT!

Hey man! lovely van...looks the nuts lowered!
Whats the handling like?
When i fitted a new rolling chassis to my 2cv it had been lowered and handled like a dog!
I had to wind up the suspension up to get it to drive without wallowing like a drunken sailor.
re "the cross" seems to be causing controversy...not my cup o tea but hey if you like it thats cool!
Ill never forget what a certain 2cv 4x4 "specialist" said when I vaunted the idea of painting one of my azu 250s chocolate brown "Naa Ant its been done!"
Errrrr....and?

Please please please people I love my 2cvs because of their non conformity and the individuality of their owners...Lets not descend into the pretencious chequebook culture that the vw "scene" has become!
Who the hell cares what is in or out of "fashion" when we are talking about the 2cv?
If you like it then its Cool Cool Cool
