it's a gs(x) so it was spilling oil! no problem at all, but my brakes became a little bit slippery...
and tested cilinder presure, and one had only 9 bar left. |

Oke, mine is leaking as well.
Its a 1300cc axle. I had it on a rollertest. It provided 78 BHP. The only thing that i have changed was the air intake. But anyway. I have to take it apart as well because of the oil problem. _________________ www.2cvkitcarforum.com

A new rebuild 602 with 2cv (8,5) pistons has 10 bars, with a bit of wear you go down to 9,5-9. I wouldn't be surprised when more than half of the 2cv's on this forum have less than that.
But you are obviously free to rebuild you engine _________________ I like to play |

@ Bart.
It's a little off topic, but i told i had some work at my gsx.
the engine was leaking a lot of oil, so i had to take it out. For i started with that i did a presure test ( its a lot easier in the car..)
3 of the 4 cilinders gave 12 bar and one 9 bar.
That and the fact that the car produced a lot of smoke is the reason to open the engine.... |
