I have a question about tyres. Is there any tyre that just look like the original Michelin 125/15, but is not that expensive? |

They look nearly the same than the michelin. I hope I can use them as long as the michelin?! |

Claude, the tyre Malte shows ist the same as the one you found. Probably nobody can tell how long they last on a 2cv as I think they only came on the market afew months ago...
However generally tyres how a price/comfort compromise... expensive michelins drive good and last long, that is what you pay for. _________________ I like to play |

If they're half the price but last half the km, I guess you're better off buying Michelin
And lifetime of the tyre is not the only aspect of choice. if performance is bad, there's no compromise there... _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.

I shortly ran a set of Mabors the other day, and wasn't happy. Moroever they have only half of the lifetime (km) of a Michelin. A friend of mine has Mabors as well, but isn't pleased about performance either.
Don't know about Toyo's, but in my opinion a cheaper tyre is generally a compromise. _________________ I like to play |

I drive some Nankang for a year and already been driving 35 000 km with them. Their not bad.
Now there are at least 3 or 4 brands making "look alike Michelin X" tires... _________________ www.super2cv.com |

New michelins does not last as long as they used to last back in the days.
I think they have more soft material now.
I just bought set of Wearwell's, they look very fine. But I havent driven whit them yet.
