But that is not so "custom car", more like a kit car. Also it would be not so,
so big news to find one?

OK, I give more infos : building started in 1955 (or maybe 1954, the owner is not so sure anymore). And it has been finished in 1961.
Olli has a point, it doesn't look like a 2 CV anymore ! But it's not a kit car, cause it's home made and absolutely unique.
There were some old pics of that car in a book about the 2 CV, a long time ago. _________________ www.super2cv.com |

No it's not that, but thanks for that picture I didn't know !
Actually Yannick Clukkers found which car it is on Flickr !
That's the "LB" for Louis Balleydier, the owner and builder.
1954 AU frame, 1961 Ami 6 engine, home made body with DS panels... All in metal.

It is really WHOW!!!!
There is a guy in the Netherlands (Martijn from Zaandam) who has a Deuche with a DS rear but this is really marvellous!
The man did really a great job on the bodywork and I can only say that this is a piece of craftmanship....
Something to be cherished for a lifetime, for sure! Would love to have 1% of his metalworking skills... _________________ Imagination is more important than knowledge (Einstein) |

Yes. And as you can see the exhaust lines are shiny and like brand new.... No rust spot. As Joseph said : it's mint condition ! _________________ www.super2cv.com |
