Is it possible to use the standard 2cv Solex 26/35 CSIC carburettor on a Visa engine? _________________ Take a look at my rally 2cv.

Like I said on 2cv.nl, I suppose yes, although I suspect you got to change jets.
Why anyway? _________________ I like to play |

We are going again to Africa with the Touareg Trail and they only have standard 2cv spare parts.
So I try to make my Visa engine as standard as possible. _________________ Take a look at my rally 2cv.

Okay, fair enough, but shouldn't you than just use a 2cv engine instead.
The last thing I would be worried about is the visa carbureteur. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is basically not a lot to go wrong with a carbureteur, apart from getting dust in it which can be solved by cleaning.
I would be much more worried about the engine itself, as offroad experience shows that aluminium barrels don't like sand in the oil.... _________________ I like to play |
