Yes, its sounds stile like a 2cv, but faster….
Some data for the engine:
602ccm. Dyane
9-1 compression
Ported head and piston
Turbo from Citroën Picasso 2,0 HDI 90Hp.
Injection by mega squirt
4,5Kg. Flywheel
Extra 13 rip oil cooler
Intercooler from Opel Vectra C.
0,7 Bar of turbo boost.
New battery holder in stainless

They should run more than that, like 8000 and even more. Jasu can tell
what happens for the ventilator after 8000.
I think regular 2cv4 engine has max power at 6700rpm.

I don't know ehat happens to ventilator, but engine runs easily more than 8000rpm. Once when we was driving with Olli back from somewhere (little pissed iff, I think), we was looking rev counter of my Dyane when I was changing from 3rd to 4th speed... And after that needle "got back" in scale, to 7500rpm, so I calculated it run in 3rd about 10200rpm... And nicely..!
Now with Megasquirt, logfile tells sometimes that rpm has been near 9000... Without problems, jet..? _________________ Make it today, tomorrow it's probably illegal... |

Its cool, your engine beats standard 2cv6 max power already at 2700rpm.
Power and torgue graphics are really straight btw, there is no any
"sharp tops". It must be smooth drive! Congrats again!

Hi, i am thinking of rebuilding and giving the orange one a new look (older, cooler) and i need a place for my inter cooler and i thort skaker hood
Good idear?? or not???
