It's a nice idea, I like the sketch.
I think you will have problems shaping the third window. The rear door window is so curved that it will be hard to follow that shape.
I would square off the upper half of the rear door so you get a more continuous line of glass on the side. If you know what I mean. Hell, go all the way and make it a two door estate (or shooting brake, if you will). _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Good! I like the idea!
I hope you can manage a nice shape for this rear part.
You have the skill to do it! _________________ www.super2cv.com |

It looks a lot better on the sketch than on the example photographs. Thats because in the sketch, you're rear fender is a couple inches shorter. If you use a normal length rear fender your rear part and window will look too long. Are you going to shorten the rear fender or wil you have a long rear side window as in the example pictures? I say, make the rear shorter, just like in the sketch |

Hey Tony, can you give us a picture of the side of the chopped car? Maybe we can do some sketching (photchopping) as well. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

This one from Etiennes gallery:
Its not best but there is something good too.
i dont get why roof is made to go so up after front door,
more space ofcourse but not so pretty.
"Original" shape under 3rd side window is nice detail.
I think this one is made out of fiberglass.
Colors are quite same than in your sketsh

The owners want to keep the rear as it is in the drawing and not make it any longer. Regarding the third windows i'm thinkingof using the rear door glass but turn it upside down, so it will look like the Swiss red and Grey estate but not so long. The roof height has caused me a few head aches already. I will try and keep it low as the drawing. The rear door is to be side mounted using the original boot handle and lock etc and the original rear window glass.
The finished car will be BRIGHT orange with Grey hood and bumpers and two tone wheels, (orange and grey of course).
More photos to follow. _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

Pleace no. Like this you will sure get really cheap look.
"Look i made it by just using citroen parts..."
Only (nice looking) way to go it is make new window.

Yeah i know what you are saying Olli but it was just an idea , i havn't tried it yet. I have got a place that can cut glass for me any shape, so it will probably have 'custom' size/cut glass in the end.
Dont panic i wont fcuk it up for the sake of a piece of glass. _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

Plexiglass works just fine for a side window. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.
