Normally injection saves fuel, gives more power, engine runs smoother, you
dont need to play whit shoke (engine runs great even when its cold).. so on.
Ofcourse these changes are not so big but anyways...

Quote: | a friend of mine just tries to install a full-sequential lpg asset in his
car.. this is also an interesting alternative.
originally it's for 4-cylinder motors. he just put 2 "injectors" on each cylinder.
everything is installed, but a correct rev-counter-signal is missing...and the lambda sensor. |
Sequential LPG i have been researching this but having rouble finding info on how to make it work...
This is a setup i have been looking at http://www.icomitalia.it/lang1/index.html
I have been in contact with them but the said it would not work on a aircooled 2 cylinder i don't beleive them...
Any info or pics would be great Malte!
Fuel injection is also good for exhaust emissions
Cheers

sorry, i was not talking about the icom liquid injection,
i'm talking about those standard lpg-system.
my technical english is too bad, sorry. :)
the lpg "Injection" works really great.
last weekend he finished putting the lpg stuff in.
it works.
but it's now a single-point injection because the stuff with the two injectors on one side didn't work.
they beliebe that it doesn't work because they don't want it to work.
the problems you got / how to solve it:
no lambda signal / put a lamda sensor in
no electronic for 2 cylinder engines availabe / single-point "Injection"
no water to heat the pressure-reducer / build own water circuit
yes it is a lot of work, but it's worth the trouble.
and more power than with old venturi-stuff.
my venturi system always works to lean or to rich, but never lamda 1 i believe. :)
but it works and it's cheap.
i try to take some pics in the next weeks. _________________ in rust we trust... |

i had a good chat with albert about his injection, if you have this part you can put anny fuel in your 2cv for driving... e85, sans plomp bezine, thinner, wiskey etc. maybe some more power an less monney
so i think we can see it on the opening day of the new garage at Burton car compagnie 21 september |

Nice work, but k-jetronic? why go for mechanical injection without any control when for the same price you can build one with lambda controlled one. I guess parts of k-jetronic will become more expensive in the futures, because a lot of old expensive cars use them (porche, mercedes etc) _________________ 2CV, with Visa turbo charged |
