Like the last photo olli and have to agree with you (first time for everything Laughing ) that the blue just wont look right with the red.
How about a pair of classic VW wheels just fitted to the front as you cant really see the rears anyway. Perhaps some RADARS mounted on adapters??

I think you are probably right on the scallops, if they were in black and that style then it would be much better, the hubcaps can be removed easily, never been sure of alloy type wheels on 2cvs but I'll have a look.

Those are very nice rims, and not expensive even as brand new.

Looking good dude.
Much better with the black scallops Very Happy .

How about a pair of the RADARS with the black centres and the rims polished, they would look good.
If you could get the rear end down low enough, you might get away with just fitting two on the front only and just painting the rear steel rims silver.
That would keep the cost down a bit and if your never going to see the rear wheels, it seems pointless paying out for them in the first place.
Perhaps the money could be used to have the adapters made for the front two wheels Idea Very Happy

I think Geoff Archer mentioned some time ago he could do it. May be worth asking him.
If he can't help you could also ask Pierre. I don't think he got an off the shelf solution, but will sure be able to make something.

Do you know thw ofset for the RADAR wheels and the standard rim??
He will need this for the CNC machines. Very Happy

Oh and another of my friends actually makes the RADAR rims and imports them into England, so should be able to get a pair for a good price.

I'll let you know asap. Tony.

Offset is width - backspacing, so :

125 - 90 = 35

more or less.

Sounds like a good plan Louis.
Didn't want to judge too hard, but never been a fan of the scallops
