and why u think i better can do only the engine, i need to reinforce the chassis then because of the increase of power, im planning to make it a 1600 kit and maby some more things to get more power out of it. and the ami super chassis is already reinforced and prepared for more power. and restored front axle. and also is the rear axle from a ami 8 with bigger bearings so less wear, and they are smaller. that would be nice aswell because i got some wide tires here wich now fit but with a clearence of 5mm and thats just to little i think.

check the chassis number of the ami and call the RDW to ask if it is stil a good nr
if so, it must be posible to get new plates on it

ofwel bel met het rdw over het nr van de ami
en vraag of het nr nog bekent is en of hier nog een actief chassisnr opzit
zo ja dan moet er weer een kenteken op te krijgen zijn
maar het is wel een hoop geld

hi,

iv had some contact with the RDW and its possible to get my dyane converted to a 4 cill they are going to email me the list with point to check. for safety and all the things there needs to be to the car to get past the test.

still in doubt of what to do, the ami super chassis with motor and things is nice, but its also a quit big amount off money, what do you guys think?
only build an 1300 axel engine / 5speed gearbox on my chassis or swap for ami super chassis with the 1300 axel / 5speed gearbox, ami 8 rear axle and restored front axle?

if the ami super is without correct registratration then it is just a big piece of iron, only the engine is worth some money.

back in process again, i went to the world meeting, and on the way back something happened en the gearbox was screwed up,

yesterday iv bought an complete front end of a gsa, with 1300cc eco engine and 5 speed, with powered brakes, vented disks and axel brake calipers and everything, so that going to be made nice, and in a year or 2 im going to fully restore the engine when iv got al the parts, and making it a 1600cc as well.

iv also bought a dyane body from 1972 with no third window, which im going to channel and make good again, only problem is still in groningen and i need it to get it to eindhoven and i dont know how yet.

still much plans left and it all has to be done on 1 dec. only the engine rebuild is going to be later on.

pictures will be added later on

You can also use Ami Super or Visa 652 (with small modifications) bell housings.
