What are you intending to do by welding these green metal pices?

You could've also restored your old chassis or bought another one. Even the cheapes imitation crap will have better performances than adding another frame on the bottom. If you're chassis has been rusting from the inside out, this solution will give you a less flexible and weaker chassis. |

Hello vlatko_baba, your 2cv is very interesting, was produced by TOMOS? The AMI6 is yours? Renovated too? The reinforcement that you made to the chassis may be an idea, in my opinion, the metal structure that reinforces the chassis side increases its robustness.
Check the internal structure of the chassis: if it' s very corroded, perhaps the
best thing is the replacement of it with another in better conditions, otherwise you may reinforce the internal ribs with 1 mm thick steel sheet too.

Just remove the axles and open your chassis to check how it looks inside. _________________ www.super2cv.com |
