Just remove the axles and open your chassis to check how it looks inside. |

2cvami wrote: | Hello vlatko_baba, your 2cv is very interesting, was produced by TOMOS? The AMI6 is yours? Renovated too? The reinforcement that you made to the chassis may be an idea, in my opinion, the metal structure that reinforces the chassis side increases its robustness.
Check the internal structure of the chassis: if it' s very corroded, perhaps the
best thing is the replacement of it with another in better conditions, otherwise you may reinforce the internal ribs with 1 mm thick steel sheet too.

the 2cv was made by CIMOS(slovenia), the ami6 too. i had the ami6 for 7 years untill last summer. when i bought the 2cv, the yard became too small and i had to sell the ami6. at first the price was 200 euro but nothing. so i lowered the price on 100 euros and still nothing. and the last price that i offer was 80 euros and still nothing. WTF??? so i throw it on the junk yard (not me, a truck came for it), and they pay me around 80 euros. sad story for a rare car like this ami6 break. _________________ http://citroen2cvmk.46.forumer.com/index.php?noportal=1 |

I'm sorry for your ami6, it' s a beautiful car! You're right, it's a sad story! In my country the AMI6 is very very rare and its price is quite high (2 / 3000 € for one in not good condition ...). _________________ http://www.2cvclubitalia.com/public/coppermine/ |
