|
|
Hello i already started building my project for the next worldmeeting in Tsjechië because after my project in Italy some people tried to build 2cv's as low or lower as mine .Now i will try to set a new standard in low rider 2CV building .
I already started channeling the body and i built the airride in the original spring position it is now working fine ,the airride lifts the car about 30cm
i adjusted the front arms so the connection to the airspring has more force because the distance between the rotation point on the front arm and the connection pin is 4 cm extra so this gives me more than 30% extra pulling force afterwards i dont really think it was neccesary .
Last week i narrowed the front axle in total 11cm and i already made 13 inch wheels with different offset between front and rear because i want to go much lower as before i did some special stuff so my 13 inch wheel comes over my steering pins in front and in the rear my my inside part of 2cv wheel comes out of the rear 13 inch wheel because the more the tire is on the inside the lower you can go in the rear fender .
i will post more pictures next week |

great stuff, but is the airride already working and is the car moving or was it very cold and you have the shakes _________________ 2CV, with Visa turbo charged |

I am using 10cm diagonal size cilinders and i use four of them ,i just replaced the original spring with these they have a 10cm travel and this lifts the car about 30cm.
When the car is completely lowered it is still possible to drive because in the rear i have 3cm space to the rear wing and in front about 2cm and my chassis is 4-5 cm from the ground
I sell these cilinders to build your own airride they cost about 90 euro a piece , today i sold a set to my brother in law and i will help him build it to his mehari it is the white mehari with chrome delta mics. |

I had already imagined a similar trick but I never passed to the practice
what I dont understand, it's the pisition of the bags in High position when they are deflated they are packed in your carter?? |

I don't quit get what you mean Ebus, but I assume that our crazy belgian is using air cilinders, they are not packed with any kind of bag, but they use a piston. The air chamber i guess is in front of the piston, so when you fill it with air the car raises. _________________ 2CV, with Visa turbo charged |
