just a quick question do any of your lowered cars have any trouble through an mot (my dad thinks my car is too low (old timers!!! ) but it isn't scraping height so would it be ok?) |

yes and no,
In the Netherlands I ones had a MoT tester who said I needed to raise it, just toget it on the ramps, otherwise no problem.
In Germany you need at least 10cm ground clearance, but different TuV guys have a different view and to get my 2cv tested here it needed to go right up again. _________________ I like to play |

Yeah, you need to ask from your own MOT center how low it can be.
In Finland you have to have 8cm. But still we have some speed bumps
which are higher than that.....

Jack. Ive had at least two lowered 2cv's and they have both been through an MOT in the UK with no problems at all.
The main issue is whether they can get it on the ramp without rubbing on the cars floor. If you have a look around your area and find a station that has a ramp sunk into the floor.
The station where i take mine has a ramp like this and so there are no problems
Hope this helps mate! _________________ If it works ok, "LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE". |

It's a 30 min job to raise or lower the car if you rod ends are nice and greased up.
so just raise it for usual MOT garage and lower it when you get back home. _________________ "That bumper fits there like sunglasses on pig" O.E.
