has anyone experiences with Weber dual carburetor?

i friend of mine gave me an 40 idf. just thinking about putting it in some day..

where is the difference between DCOE and IDF ?

No idea Malte. Basically there are standing and laying Weber's, but I don't know which code is which.
For a 2cv one can also use a visa Weber carb, don't know it's number/code either, but can find out when you want to know.

Basicely, DCOE are horizontal


and IDF vertical

the visa one is no dual cab.

ok thanks..then DCOE is horizontal, and IDF is vertical. :)

now i just need to clean it, develop an air-inlet. and go.

that pic of the twin webber set up makes me laugh why would you need 4 chokes for 2 cylinders surly you would be better off with 2 mikuni motorcycle carbs or carbs of an old bmw gs
