|
|
Does anyone know for sure if the Dyane cam is "racier" than the V06/665 Visa one? And if so, is the only other difference the diameter of the "bearing" as opposed to the oilturbine of the Dyane? (And the ignition carrier, naturally). I have a first generation Visa engine as well, but i heard or saw something about "something being asymmetrical", so i guess that camsahft is out of the question.
The plan is to fabricate a collared bronze bush with the outer diameter of the Visa cam, inner diameter of the Dyane crankcase, and hold it in place using the two M7 bolt holes and sealed by an original seal. So the the bush emulates the Visa crankshaft, but bolted on to the casing, while the turbine works as on a Dyane/2CV.
Establish a "fan force feeder", high compression plungers and 2-into-one collector-- aim is 40hp..
Is that a plan?

the fastest original cam???
Remember I measured a little on it for 6-7 years ago, think well that a Dyane cam can be fitted in this way.
Has rained a little engine volume and speed.
652ccm / 602ccm = 1.083%
32Hp * 1.083 = 34.66 Hp
6000rpm / 5600rpm = 1071%
So power increase would be there around.
Is there another that is more fun???
So with some other tricks, they should 40hp be there _________________ Mvh. Lars E
