Hi Bart,
nope, since the splines extend so far along the shaft.
You have to take the lid off and count the pinion teeth on the input shaft, or do that 'turns of output shaft for one turn of the input' business.

No, Barbour kit has 2cv4 gearbox, 2cv4 and 2cv6 has same final drive...
2cv4 and 2cv6 gearbox is same, even some 2cv4 is place where brake calipers can be mounted, aswell some 2cv6 hasn't them...
