Well, take the picture, imagine the panels to be orange flake with a white outline and the rest matt black. Saves a lot of money but would look bitchin'. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

I would not use black whit bright orange here. Too strong Harlov Davidov
connection. But those panels could work in boxy Dyane body.

Yeah... many thinks could be groovy...
I like the idea orange/orange metal flake panel, but I can't do it by myself, and I really can't spend the money for that...
Bart, what could be the price for a such job? I mean roughly just for the idea. _________________ www.super2cv.com |

This would be the idea of creme with orangeflake panels (sorry for messing up your photoshop, Olli).
Also magnesium wheels and bullet grille.
As for the price, that would be in the range of 2000 to 2500 euros, depending on the complextity of the design and the parts that need to be flaked. So, probably about 500 to 1000 euros more than a "regular" paintjob for a car. _________________ Don't ask me what I think of you 'cause I might not give the answer that you want me to.

No, brob by messing my chop if you could at least write on it:
"Edited by KustomBart". If some one links it to web like that and there is
my signature on it... Not nice.
About the chop, those panels are quite ok. Bullet grille I dont like.

About the grille, I have no idea what I will do... I don't like the plastic regular one, and I don't really like neither the old one.
Bullet grille could be ok... any other idea Olli or anybody? _________________ www.super2cv.com |

If you're going to paint it satin brown:
- remove the logo and paint it completely black (shiny)
or
- remove the logo, take the grille out of the frame, have the frame chromed and paint the grille black.
Just for the idea ...

No grill or a grill with just round holes as you sometimes see on 2cvs (is that bullet grill??) or something homemade from material you'd normally not expect there. That can be very good but watch out cause it can also be very very bad... At least please don't reuse the grill of another car, they always look useless.
No chevrons is definetaly better.

Or go all the way from mild to wild.
Roofchop, exit bumpers. For the grille, I would use small horizontal chrome bars (about 15mm) , to fill in the grille opening. It could use a license plate to fill in the big space under the grille.
