But a Murcielago has 500 HP and the 4WD is used to make it corner properly

A 2cv will always have excellent cornering properties because of its chassis setup, low speed and (no) power

So I guess it's called Overkill

Unless you put 2 1300cc engines and Gboxes. that would be cool Laughing

@Jack_blue_dyane please do not make such a thing! The best look for a mehari is a méhari front nothing else! Sorry to tell you that but this white thing looks awfull! The low dyane is a far way much better idea for resonable cost

i'd quite like too make a hovercraft with a 2cv/dyane engine i know someone who did; he also made a 2cv engined tracked vehicle

I'm sorry but I'm getting confused now. What are you intending to do here?Are you gonna modify the dyane you bougth or are you gonna do something else? for an hovercraft you just need one engine not a full car...

have done more progress past few months but haven't been able to post until now

chassis lowered of course!

the body shell in a pretty bad state but should be working on it this week end

king pins still need doing

but have done the drive shaft gaiters

engine fully serviced hasn't been run since 2004

wheels next... have painted two black

run out of black paint so i did the old michelin colours

cut out old floors but in order to weld the new ones back in we have to replace the sills and bulkhead

sills (non replaced)

bulkhead same story

the wind screen and hinge pannel need replacing too

every thing for this project i have got

front wing


FINISHED YESSSSS

no sorry my moment of dreaming!

snail logo at last

got this delivered from a freind of my families

hopefully get it mounted
