You're right, I'm on the right side, the right side that is. That makes the left side the not-right one. If we are all on the right side, no one is on the wrong side.

I am of couse not speaking of politics, that would be a totally different story (that might include talk about Kübels and their original users, the ones with the noise in their head when they see this Kübel).

Thanks guys for the kind remarks, im well pleased with it and cant wait to drive it for the first time Cool Very Happy .
Brammie, the original never had door rubbers and to be honest i dont intend driving it all that often in the rain as it hasnt got a roof and wont have for quite a while yet. Ive got a good set of waterproof clothing though and drilled drainage holes in the floor, Laughing Laughing

Well Guys here it is.
All finished, painted, MOT'd, taxed and insured and ready to go.
The only thing that i'm waiting for at the moment is some bigger carb jets as i'm using a K&N filter and its sucking in too much air too fuel ratio at the moment.
If ECAS get their arses in gear, they should be here in the next day or two and i should have them fitted ready for World Meeting.
Anyway, its fantastic to drive and it gets looks everywhere i go in it, so at the moment i'm a happy man.
See you in Salbri (i hope) Wink Cool

Tony, brilliant, your attention to detail is outstanding it really makes the car. It is also great that you stuck to your guns and made the car that you wanted, not what was expected by others, big respect to you for doing that.

Enjoy.

It is truly amazing!!!

As an old Willys MB 1942 owner (my dad was ww2 car crazy and among other vehicles had a Kettenkrad and a Schwimwagen) a little give away is the camouflage pattern textile on the dash board - and what about hanging a piece of rope to camouflage the grille a bit? That would look period and trick no doubt.
